The Deluxe Queen Room was spacious and well-equipped with bike mounts and hooks, which made it convenient for our stay. The outdoor living area was a highlight, featuring cozy fire pits and a communal kitchen that truly enhanced our experience. However, concerns arose when we discovered that our door lacked proper locks and staff entered without knocking, raising safety issues. Cleanliness was also a concern, as some toiletries were only half-used, which was disappointing.

I had a great stay in the Double Queen room. It was super clean and had fun hammocks inside that the kids loved! The room also came with a fridge, microwave, and a kettle, which was really convenient. Plus, there was a yeti cooler and plenty of racks for our gear, making it easy to keep everything organized. Check-in was a breeze—just got a code and went straight to our room. Location was perfect too!

I loved the laid-back vibe here, especially with the outdoor gear racks and rugged room decor perfect for my hiking trip. The BBQ facilities and cozy lounge area made it easy to unwind after a long day outdoors. The only hiccup was a slight delay in check-in, but it didn’t ruin my experience at all! 😊

We had a lovely stay! The location is fantastic and the room was perfect for our family—plenty of space and a hammock for the kids! Worth extending our stay for that extra night!
However, getting locked out after our code changed was a bit of a comedy sketch! A better way to communicate updates would’ve been nice—who has time to play detective?

I had a great experience enjoying the onsite cafe. The staff there were friendly and made sure my coffee was hot. I appreciated the various outdoor activities available in the area, especially the snowshoeing. We took advantage of the free Raleigh City Cruisers, which was a fun way to explore the surroundings. This location is perfect for couples like us who enjoy road trips and the outdoors, so overall it was satisfying.
I did notice some cleanliness issues. There were a few dusty spots that needed attention. Also, the heater produced a lot of noise, which was distracting at times.

missingWrote a review on Sept 20communal outdoor spacerustic charmcozy kitchenbathroom upgrade
The communal outdoor living space impresses, complete with fire pits and a cozy kitchen area that feels welcoming after a long day. The decor captures a rustic charm, enhancing the overall experience for guests.
The bathroom needs a serious upgrade. the painted-over vanity looks cheesy and doesn't provide any real cleanliness assurance. The sink drain lacks a plug, which could lead to lost items, and the edge of the tub looks grimy without proper trim. Seating is questionable. the queen bed is just foam pads lacking support, which my wife found uncomfortable. Lastly, morning noise from room cleaners using profanity wasn’t ideal for a peaceful stay.
